David Tumblety has studied sculpture and anatomy at The Arts Students League and The National Academy in New York. He is the recipient of the James C Johnson Scholarship (2014) the recipient of the Ann and Bruno Lucchesi Grant in 2015 and he won the Edmund Stewardson Figurative Sculpture Competition in 2016.  His bronze portrait of Jack Faragasso is in the permanent collection at The Arts Students League.
